Terms of Service

Pre-launch notice: review with qualified legal counsel before relying on this document in production. This template uses common international agency-of-carrier patterns; Myanmar-specific consumer protection law should be checked.

1. Acceptance

By using the Sonic Star Travel website, mobile app, or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Our services

Sonic Star Travel acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, tour operators, visa services and other travel suppliers. We help you search, compare, book and pay for their services. The travel contract is between you and that supplier; we are not the carrier or principal.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Bookings & contracts

Every booking is subject to the supplier's own conditions of carriage / hotel terms / tour terms. The booking is confirmed only when you receive a PNR or confirmation reference and have completed payment. We are not liable for availability errors or pricing errors that we discover before issuance.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by UAB Bank's Transactease gateway. You authorise the charge displayed at checkout. Currency, fees, and FX are governed by UAB's gateway terms and your card issuer.

6. Changes & cancellations

Any change or cancellation is subject to the supplier's fare rules. Some fares are non-refundable. Voluntary changes may attract a fare difference plus an airline change fee. Sonic Star may charge a service fee in addition; this is disclosed before processing.

7. Airline conditions of carriage

Each airline ticket is governed by that carrier's conditions of carriage, which form part of the contract of carriage between you and the carrier. We provide links to those conditions on request.

8. Liability

We act in good faith. Subject to applicable law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected booking. We are not liable for losses caused by supplier failures, force majeure, or events outside our reasonable control.

9. Intellectual property

Sonic Star, the wordmark, logo and site content are owned by Sonic Star Travel. You may not copy, modify or redistribute them without permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or are used for fraud or abuse, with notice where possible.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Yangon courts, except where mandatory consumer law applies.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app and emailed to account holders.
